Vanessa Colleen FOOD FROM HOME offers delicious freshly cooked frozen meals which are delivered to your door every Monday.
Our quality meals are additive, colorant and preservative free. We love using fresh veggies and good quality meats. Our chicken is free range.
Orders are placed by Mondays, meals are then cooked as per orders received, frozen, and delivered to your home or office on the following Monday.
Your meals will be delivered in oven and microwave friendly foil containers, all you need to do is to defrost, heat up, then sit back and enjoy!

- Family Meals -
Each week will offer you different family meals to choose from!So it's not the same menu week after week ;)
You can look forward to slow cooked, hearty stews, like Tomato Bredie, Green Bean Bredie, Lamb Boere Bredie, Beef Bourguignon and traditional Oxtail. Classic chicken dishes like Chicken a la King, Chicken Stroganoff and creamy Chicken Pies.
There's also beautiful Indian, Cape Malay and Thai Curries to warm up the soul. And pasta, oh how I love pasta! Cheeeesy lasagna, Mac & Cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese and pasta bakes. Yum.
A few other favorites to look forward to are Fish Cakes, Frikkadelle, Pork Bangers, Smokey Boerewors Bredie, Quiches and a variety of delicious vegetable sides, baked desserts and fridge tarts ♥
- Healthy Meals Menu -
LEAN & HEALTHY MEALS
These balanced meals are made with lean meats, lots of vegetables, healthy grains and legumes.
For cooking we use olive oil and coconut oil. No sweeteners, no dairy, no thickening agents, no alcohol, no processed meats and of course, no additives, colorants or preservatives.
These are all served as single meals at 350g per portion.
SMOOTHIES
Our smoothies are made with a variety of frozen fruits, chia seeds, double cream plain yogurt, full cream milk and / or coconut milk, and if sweetened, raw honey.
These are great for breakfast or as an in-between meals snack.
- DELIVERY DETAILS -
Deliveries take place every Monday between 08:00 and 17:00.
We are currently delivering to: Melkbosstrand, Bloubergstrand, Tableview, Milnerton, Claremont, Kenilworth, Goodwood, Parow, Bellville and Durbanville.
Delivery is FREE in the Bloubergstrand, Melkbosstrand and Tableview areas which are within a 10km radius of West Beach.
There is a R60 weekly delivery fee to other areas.
Kindly contact us if you would like to have meals delivered to a different area so that we can confirm availability.
NOTE: Please ensure that the receiving person will be available to receive your meals and place them in your freezer. Should it happen that no one was available to receive the delivery, meals will need to be collected from Bloubergstrand.
- Ordering Your Meals -
We release a monthly menu at a time which will cover the menu for a 4 or sometimes 5 week period.
Orders need to be placed by Mondays for delivery on the following Monday.
Alternatively, you can place your order for the full month all at one go, meals will still be delivered as per weekly delivery dates indicated.
1) Select your delivery date on the navigation bar (be sure not to order for passed weeks for which orders have been closed)
2) Select your delivery option;
3) Add your meal choices to your basket;
4) Proceed to checkout

I am a self taught cook and absolutely love food... It brings joy with each bite, every time.I adore food stories and are so grateful for food memories that pop up every now and again when I smell or taste something familiar, like cinnamon, it excites me and makes my heart happy ♥
Thanks to my passion and appreciation for delicious food, I made the decision to exit from my career in the corporate world in order to pursue my love for cooking, at home.
Spending time in my kitchen, cooking "lekker kos" (delicious food) for my family and friends are my absolute happy place. Even though I enjoy a variety of foods, my first love is the traditional meals I grew up with in Citrusdal, my home town. Hearty food. Comfort food. All made with love.
